Light refracting thru glass, water, more glass. The space between the glass walls.Light finking it’s way down the edge of the glass and spilling into a corner of solid glass. No place to go. Bouncing back up thru the stillness.
Getting to know a new medium has always created contradictions for me. I love to dive right in and play with the ingredients. I hate (at least strongly dislike) reading instructions. They don’t seem to make much sense without experience.
Silverpoint is a soft silver line, much like pencil but not erasable. It goes on a soft silver color with a medium range of light to dark. After a short period of time exposed to the air it will tarnish to a warm grey. I love that aspect of this medium, that it continues to change after the artist is done with it.
